The RoseMary Barn, McKinney, Texas
McKinney, Texas-The stunning simplicity of a white-on-white wedding is the inspiration for this white barn romanic editorial shoot. The white shiplap barn venue, The RoseMary Barn, provided an ethereal and romantic backdrop against which the wedding day story of love unfolded beautifully. The RoseMary Barn is nestled in a country setting of white fences, mature tree-lined lanes and horse farms outside the historic downtown McKinney, Texas. The tablescape, designed by Denise Knitch of Dixie Does Vintage, showcased a beautiful mix of vintage brass, silver and crystal laid with her vintage china. Florist Elizabeth Blanford of Lizzie Bee's Flower Shoppe adorned the venue's rustic farmhouse table with a classic green garland flanked by a flowing white table runner that poured gracefully off the table onto the floor drawing the viewer's eye up and over the vintage brass candle lined setting. The bride was wearing a romantic, high necked, sleeveless lace ball gown provided by Leann's Bridal that went beautifully with her rose embellished updo by April Stuart Hairstylist and her custom jewlery pieces by Antonio & Frankie. The bride's makeup was a soft, sophisticated statement created by the talented Lauren Lewis of Southern Glam. The details of the day told a story of love and vintage romance, from the vintage furniture, bicycle, gold wedding bands and custom stationary to their first dance and the send off in the white Rolls-Royce provided by Blue Diamond Limousines of Texas! The cake by Sweet Somethings by Ashleigh was the star of the day dressed in stunning gold and adorned with fresh flowers. The bride's beautiful bouquet spoke of vintage elegance. This wedding inspiration included an alternative guest book which was a detailed map of the world, designed by Carol Sullivan, The Map Chick, in which guests can pin where in the world they traveled from to attend the wedding. The bride and groom can then frame this piece of custom art for display in their home for years to come. The stationary was custom designed for the bride and groom with hand watercolored embellishments and a small map to the venue. Another fun highlight of the wedding is the his and her drink stations. Bride and groom had custom mules...his a Kentucky Mule while hers was a Hibiscus Berry Aperol Moscow Mule Cocktail. The Love Marquis provided by Something Vintage Something New provided a perfect backdrop for the couple's first dance. The couple's dramatic sendoff in the white Rolls Royce was the icing on the cake to this romantic white barn wedding day. Texas weather gives me nightmares...the Panebianco Family were such good sports as we braved the weather radar's ominous warning of imminent severe weather. When I arrived at this beautiful family's home to start our session, dad said, "Let's go...we have 15 mins untill the rain gets here!" We started the session with the "must have" portraits and kept tempting fate that we could get just one more shot in before the bad weather arrived. To all of our amazement, we were able to get the entire session completed...the severe weather literally skirted us on all sides! It was such a fun time together as we celebrated beating Mother Nature at her own game with high-fives! The portraits are stunning and you know what? As soon as I got in my car to head home the rain started falling. You've gotta love living in Texas!
